Truth Lutheran Church was designed as the first worship facility for this congregation made up primarily of families of Chinese descent. The building was designed to reflect the ideas and values of this unique congregation. Principles from Chinese architecture were incorporated into the design of the building. The project is designed around an exterior courtyard space with the entrance marked by a tower. Interior detailing reinterprets traditional Chinese imagery in a modern manner. High clerestory windows allow abundant daylight into the sanctuary space. The program includes a sanctuary, church offices, classrooms, and multipurpose room.
